Content Delivery Network
Our website uses various content delivery networks distributed worldwide. These serve to analyse data traffic between users and our websites, for example to detect and ward off attacks on our services or to reliably deliver elements of our website at high speed to all parts of the world. Technically, the transfer of information between your browser and our website is routed via the content delivery network. The network providers are thus able to track your visit to our website and read out name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.
We use content delivery networks from the following providers:
- CloudFlare, Inc. 665 3rd St. #200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
- “UNPKG” - this is an open source CDN, also operated by CloudFlare, Inc. 665 3rd St. #200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
We have a legitimate interest in using Cloudflare to process this data in order to optimise our online offering and make it more secure. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
